Just got another update from Jon. It is as follows:
"Went to visit, she is still on hard meds.. lots of cutting, stitches and three drainage tubes. Surgeon said it can still go either way. 
"

It's really sad when they play the pick-and-choose game. The most important thing is that Hope is in recovery and that some truly incredible people stepped up to help Hope and Jon out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

So up front, I want to say that I am not good at writing articles. My communication skills in general are pretty bad and that is certainly intensified when using text as the form of communication being used.
Recently a dog named Hope was attacked. The dog is the fur child of Jon Henry. As you can see in the images there was certainly damage done. This morning Hope is to undergo surgery to deal with some of the injuries. Please keep both Hope and Jon in your prayers.
What I want to address is the lack of action being taken in this matter. I have been a Highland resident for 46 of my 51 years and I myself have experienced the same issue. I was harassed for a year and a half because I reported a hit-and-run accident where the driver appeared to be drunk (considering he had to hold onto the vehicle to prevent himself from falling as he walked to the door). He backed into someone's vehicle damaging it and then took off. For whatever reason "they could not find the driver". But I couldn't even mow my grass or barbeque outside without issue. I can even remember getting a visit because my trash cans could be seen from the street. Oh by the way. The house that the truck was leaving from was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Starting to make sense yet?
Clearly, there is an issue here. I will let you make the assumptions.
Hope is being treated at the Highland Animal Hospital. I am sure she is in wonderful and capable hands. Please pray for everyone involved.
